Getting Scribbley with Translation is Dialogue
Hi Scribblers!
I’m starting to work on Phase 2 of my painting titled Wavos.
Wavos is a piece of artwork I created for an installation that premiered in Estonia called Translation is Dialogue. Phase 2 of TID is now on this side of the Atlantic! The show is on Saturday, July 30th at Freeform + Deform in The Navy Yards, Brooklyn from 5-9pm. Come on out if you have the chance!
Translation is Dialogue is the brain child of Arlene Tucker.
I have had the pleasure of working with Arlene and getting to know her for the past six years. She’s been my assistant, my right hand Scribbler and is definitely a super creative Scribbler extraordinaire! I’m delighted to say that Arlene has continued to work with us on Scribble Town although she is currently living in Finland.
Two years ago Arlene left the USA for Estonia to study Semiotics (The study of how meaning is created). She has a very special gift of looking at life through a child’s eyes. Her imagination is unique and her mind is able to sort through the most complex situations in order to filter them down to their simplest forms.
Check back tomorrow, Arlene will be telling you about Phase 2 of Translation is Dialogue and how you can become involved.
