Jumping into Summer!

According to the dates for the change of seasons, its not quite summer yet- but it sure does feel like it! Memorial Day weekend was supposed to be a dismal rainy 3-days, but it turned out to be a wonderful weekend filled with fun in the sun! What did you do this past weekend?

There are many fun things to do on summer weekends. You can go on a family vacation, have friends and family over for a barbeque or even take a trip to the beach!

This past weekend, I headed out to the beach and I had such a blast relaxing in the sun but wow, was it crowded! Do your kids love the beach? I always love watching the kids make sandcastles and take turns burying each other- its so much fun!

If you and the kids are looking for a little down time to call off from the warm weather, entertain the kids with this summer coloring page!

Think Warm Thoughts!!

Brrrrrr!! The weather outside is chilly! Today with the windchill, the temperature was 15 degrees! Yikes! When I was little, I used to play soccer with the kids down the block and without fail we always ended up playing all the way through the winter…even if it snowed! Though I was cold, I loved the game, so to warm myself up I would think warm thoughts! I thought back on this today and focused my mind on the beaches, palm trees, the jungle and then started thinking about jungle animals! To help warm up your little ones, share this jungle coloring page with them!

This coloring page will give your kids an activity to do indoors and you can see if the “think warm thoughts” idea works for them too!

Happy Scribbling!
