Creativity is Fun!

Hi Scribblers!

Did you see our post yesterday on all the fun we had at Bayfest 2012? We were really impressed by some of the creative scribblers who sat down to use our supplies to make their creative crafts!

This scribbler joined us and made origami and a puppet!

Another scribbler made a retro necklace!

Do you like to make your own crafts? Using your imagination is fun! Simply pull out a few craft supplies: crayons, scissors, popsicle sticks, yarn- whatever you can find! Sit down with these supplies and play with them for a bit. Try layering things, twisting things, use glue, tape or string to hold it all together. When creating your own crafts, be sure to take your time and you really can’t go wrong! As long as you are giving yourself time to create, you’ll soon find that exploring your imagination can be fun!

Meet Tubber!

Hi Scribblers!

Today, I would like to introduce you to Tubber!

Meet Tubber!

This dribbler is the youngest Scribbler in Scribble Town.

Tubber is Zippy’s younger brother who just wants to hang out with the big kids. Tubber is
a little squirt and there’s nothing he loves more than water and his big brother, Zippy.
Wherever there’s water, there’s Tubber  jumping in puddles and running through rain.
Tubber can’t really talk and only Zippy can understand his mumbo jumbo. He sports a one-toothed grin,
funky shorts, and sneakers that he still has to grow into.
However, he does have one major talent- getting into trouble!
Then it’s up to the other scribblers to bail him out.

There you have it Scribblers! You have now met all the characters of Scribble Town. You have met Scribble Man, Eraser Man, Zippy, Kimmi, Carlos and Tubber! If you would like to make a Scribble puppet, just click on the puppet image, download, print and Get Scribbley! Have fun!

Meet Carlos

Hi Scribblers!

You’ve almost met all of the Scribble Friends! Have you printed out and colored in your Scribble Man, Eraser Man, Zippy and Kimmi friends?

Today, I’d like you to meet Carlos!

Carlos is the most fearful and giggliest scribbler in Scribble Town. He’s wary of the unknown, although that’s not to say you can’t coax him into trying something new with a little friendly encouragement! When Carlos is nervous he talks a mile a minute. He gets the giggles whenever Kimmi is around. He’s also the only scribbler who is afraid to scribble! “What if it comes out wrong?” he thinks. Carlos will always go along on adventures. His soft spot for Kimmi leads him into trying new things and exploring places that he would normally be afraid of. Once he is coaxed, he will try things (including drawing) and he is usually glad that he did!

Click, download and print Carlos to take him with you on your daily adventures. Don’t forget, we would love to see where you go with the Scribble Friends so be sure to post a picture on our Facebook wall or send us a picture via email.
