Turning a new leaf

With the start of the new school year and the start of the new season, it’s a great time to turn a new leaf and set goals for the school year. Using decoupage, tissue paper, and a craft box help your kids create a resolution box.

Have them sit down with a stack of index cards and each write 5-10 goals for the year.

  • Get A’s in Math!
  • Make new friends!
  • Learn a new language!
  • Get first chair in band!

Moms, Dads, what will your goals be? If everyone sits down around the table to write down there goals, it will surely be exciting as you can take out those cards as they get accomplished! Pin your accomplished goals onto an accomplishment board with pictures, report cards, stickers, etc and the rest of the family will be sure to strive their goals too!

Turning a New Leaf

Hi Scribblers,

The New Year brings new resolutions. Have you made your New Year’s Resolutions yet? I sometimes find it hard to keep up with and remember my resolutions so this year I decided to craft a little reminder!

This little craft is a great way to keep your New Year’s Resolution fresh in mind. Once you’ve made your New Year’s Leaf, write your resolution on the back and hang it up, place it in your day planner or display it on your desk. Encourage your kids to do the same. This is a great way to keep you moving toward your goal!
